TWL: RE: Ford Lehman rebuild/options

Your website says she's 42" long, same as your post here. You might want to fix that. . $117,000 for a 42" long boat is high. Your website says 150 hours since engine top-end overhaul. Are you saying that this condensation damage happened within the last 150 hours of use? That sounds suspicious to me?

After all, what you are doing when you cut a line is > dropping a perpetual killing machine to the bottom--crabs die, > attracts other crabs to the pot, which die, which attracts other > crabs. Same for lobsters.

It would have continued to grow and eventually "die off" causing your filters to plug. The Biobor just caused the die off to occur now instead of later. I used Biobor (and other biocides) for many years in my sailboat and continue to use it regularly in my trawler and I believe I have prevented problem growth from occurring.

When the boat sits unused for more that one day, all of the water sitting in the hoses stagnates - the organisms use up all the dissolved oxygen and then die. The stagnant water begins to stink of hydrogen sulfide as things in the water die.

Rather than an animal die off, I’ve been wondering about an insect emergence. There are annual cicadas that emerge late July, early August from what I have read. They develop underground.
