It is a coined word. Technically to be an acronym the it must be spelled by the first letter of several other words. "SCUBA" is an acronym but "scuba" is now a common English word that has displaced the old 1950's vintage "SCUBA" in modern usage. But "radar" was never an acronym.

Anyway, the older coin cell 419s are pretty badly damaged due to leakage from the packs, am tearing them down for parts. The newer one didn't leak, am just shopping for 20 good tabbed 1/3AA cells. Solder 5, inline shrinktube, repeat 4 more times and done.

Re: T&T: 10 kts at 10 miles/gal.

My back of the envelope calculations show that a 50 ft. boat, with a 10,000 lb displacement, powered by 17 hp would do 10 kts. on one gallon per hour. No violation of the laws of physics at all. A long, thin, light boat would do it. Remember that 8 husky rowers in a racing shell can do 13 kts. over a one mile course.
