Bimini top metal
Thu, Feb 27, 2014 8:14 PM
I am getting my Bimini top extended.  I have been looking at 1" Stainless Steel tubing and have a question.  Most suppliers in my area carry only 304 grade stainless..  I can have them order 316 grade stainless.. but.. One supplier tells me I do not want to use 316 grade on a Bimini.. he says it is not as strong as 304 and that I should use 304..

sealing the bilge top

I would just trowel half inch thick cement patching compound with vinyl that you can find in Home Debit and finish the top with an epoxy paint from Rustoleum. It is important to use cement product because it is alkaline and will keep the iron punching from continuing to rust.

should result in two components at fc+f and fc-f, but outputting a complex-valued baseband signal x(t) = exp(2*pi*f*t) should only result in an fc+f component.

*Setting*: Gain : 0 lo offset : 0 Samp rate : 25MS/s (100e6/4) Antenna: RX2 *The Spurious Signal:* @ fc = 641.25 MHz (reproducible at 642 / 641 MHz) Goes away @ fc = 630MHz. *+- 25MHz*: No, I don't see any signal that could get aliased; I believe this is not due to the aliasing from the DDC. *1/2 fc (315MHz):* Clean (no signal observed).
