MacGregor 26 OFF LINE PLEASE!
Fri, Oct 20, 2006 4:42 PM
The McGregor 26 is a hybrid piece of junk and about as close to an abortion as you can get. It is a disgrace to the sailing community and the boating community over all. Can we stop using the Great List List Serve for this junk. How about it Mr. Moderator. Enough is enough. Capt Bob M/Y ALLEZ!

Top 5 boats

It is essentail that she shares in all of the decisions in boat buying and plans. I was fortunate that Marie owned her own boat when we met, and she worked beside me in boat building, then lots of on the job training as we cruised, so that she could do all of the boat jobs as well, or often better than I.

We have a 'full' cover for SEASTAR, but it does not cover the cabin roof tops. I starts at the edge of the roof tops, and covers all the sides, decks and down to just past the varnished rails. The hull top sides are exposed below the second plank. SEASTAR is all wood, and with lots of bright work. Rain and sun are her nemisis (sp?)

Re: [Talk] Edit Cataloging Templates

Case 2: I create a coin object with the "Coin" template. I want this view to stay with the object. Later, someone wants to look at the coin using the default full cataloging template. They probably do not want to save the coin with the full cataloging template - it should stay associated with the coin template by default.

Re: [time-nuts] RPi/ beagle bone-like computer without video
Fri, Dec 2, 2016 4:05 PM
You could spend days going through all the datasheets and websites - I suspect that they ALL have about the same power consumption for a given amount of processing horsepower - same feature size on the die, after all - so it's more about peripherals and ease of use I started looking at RPi and BBB because there are a LOT of them out there, they're cheap,

Cleaning a bimini top
Fri, Aug 12, 2011 3:24 PM
We have a gray bimini top on our trawler which is docked in Palm City, FL. It has small spots on it which we think are mildew or algae but could be other crud of some sort. We don't want to use clorox to clean it since clorox might affect the color. Any suggestions of cleaners you have used would be appreciated.
