We have a gray bimini top on our trawler which is docked in Palm City, FL.
It has small spots on it which we think are mildew or algae but could be
other crud of some sort. We don't want to use clorox to clean it since
clorox might affect the color. Any suggestions of cleaners you have used
would be appreciated.

We've had good luck with Spray 9, available at Ace Hardware stores.
Hydrogen peroxide will kill the mold and mildew, but a good washing with
mild soap like Ivory Snow will probably wash it away. Don't use bleach,
it'll harm the material and the stitching. Someone else posted a link to the
Sunbrella site; it's good information.
