Interestingly, the six I found easy to put into the top ten were the top six on the list.

All was well for a week or so, then the seams began to split in the middle and in come cases it lost its bond on the edges.

Re: T&T: Air Comperssor Advice Sought from Listees

For Island Eagle I put in a small 110V Porter Cable like this one, mounted on top of a fuel tank: http://www.porter-cable.com/index.asp?e=547&p=5948 Very inexpensive at Home Despot, and came with a free brad gun. Works fine with my Trace SW4024 inverter. I use it for general compressed air (parts cleaning, etc.) as well as to power my air horns.

Hard top bridge enclosure

There are two options, the first is a heavier and stronger top that can be walked on, which requires more structure, verses the option of a lighter top and structure that can't be walked on. Does anybody have any thoughts? I installed Niads last winter and she is very stable. For this price, I want to get it right from the start.

Re: T&T: Zippers and Snaps - and patching leaks in the top.

Just a dab of wd40 to the inside of them all. Big mistake, what was once secure, now want to fly in the wind. They just don't want to hold at high speeds. Patching the Leaks in the top. We used "sail tape" on the topsides on to reinforce the heavy sewing where leaks occur. It held for four year and is still going strong.

Re: [time-nuts] Parking Time - was US New Year countdown - accurate?

Earlier this year I noticed that a new "pay and display" meter in the city center (Cambridge UK) has what appears o be a GPS patch antenna on top. Presumably a GPS receiver is cheaper than manually setting time or arguing it out in court. Anyone got information on this application?

Hi Myrna, Bob and all, <> That is the kind of material we have in our bimini top: vinylized Sunbrella. I forget the trade name, other than Sunbrella something. We really love it.
