Easter Sunday - Visit from the Easter Bunny
Fri, Mar 27, 2020 2:49 AM
I am so excited to be visiting your homes on Easter Sunday - April 12. I've been very busy this year collecting eggs and filling them for all my great friends in Vuecrest. I have taken extra care filling them, to make sure we all stay safe from this terrible virus that is going around.

[Ontbirds]Red Crossbill - Pinery P.P. - May 10
Thu, May 11, 2006 7:45 PM
Hi all, On our way to visit the banders on Riverside Trail early yesterday I spotted a female and then Emily pointed out a male Red Crossbill, just over the boardwalk perpendicular to the river. They were only 4/5 m high and seemed to have very large bills, perhaps accentuated by their relative proximity.

Re: [time-nuts] Crystal Ageing

I had published an example for that 10 years ago - see a copy of my paper " Correlation of predicted and real aging behaviour" on our website www.axtal.com. In that paper I used data from about 9 months of aging, and compared the predictions made from different time periods with the real aging.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do, reduce peak emissions by 10-20dB depending on the depth of modulation and the particular test (I was more interested in MIL-STD-461 than FCC at the time). I still have the breadboard...

I have a set of 10 cables bought off the *bay with such connectors. These cables are 75 ohm, so there will be a mismatch in a 50 ohm system no matter what the connector is.

The old Hynautic documentation says to use Hynautic MCO-06 fluid or Mil-H-5606. It says ATF "may be used but will cause harder steering." Harder steering is not great, but I just don't want another leaking seal. Also, any idea why the shaft would have had a groove at the seal lip?

(8,000 V/20 Mil) I have never used either product (Rescue Tape nor Magic Wrap), they sound like very useful products and was just looking into it.
