Standing on a chair in a local waterfront restaurant to pull the wires out
of a speaker over our heads - he hates piped-in music interfering with his
hearing my wisdom...I reminded him to reinsert them when we left...

Asking the waitress for a gallon of her cheapest iced tea and complaining
about the lack of freebies....

Lighting fuses to conversational bombs left and right with a twinkle in his
eye while I tried not to give him away by laughing out loud.... I still
think he has a secret VHF squirreled away. You all will never know the joy
this topic gave him!

Getting all worked up and alternately laughing about the unrealistic
expectations of people who thought they knew something about boat repair ...

Being brutally honest while doing his best to be gentlemanly and considerate
of the person's convictions he was graciously dismantling...

Taping Jill's fingertips so she wouldn't harm her cooking hands while hand
sanding the Briney Bug in the boat yard....

So off you go, Don Quixote. Don't ever let a windmill go unchallenged, and
be sure to write if you get work....

We just want to say thank you for all the priceless information you have offered over the years. We have been members of the T+T list for about 4 years and we've always enjoyed reading your posts, especially when you included the tasks you assigned to Jill. I'm still wondering if you are Rich Ganos alter ego, or was it the other way around? ;-)
