Rudy may be too modest to have mentioned it, but PassageMaker magazine has contracted with him for a year's worth of seamanship articles. I have been reading his posts on this list for years and came to admire his command of the subject and his ability to communicate to a tough audience. I was recently hired as executive editor with a mandate to help make the magazine more relevant. We are doing that by bringing people like Rudy and others real-life cruisers into the mix. I don't intend this to be a commercial, just news about one aspect of Rudy and Jill's next chapter.
