What was the complaint about WX for tonight (Friday)?
Other than being bitterly cold, it did not look all that bad.

I assume that you're seeing theleading edge of Helene-
right?

Helene has knocked trees down and power out for some in our area. We have high wind advisors as well, so more damage is likely.

Not to mention I went to MCL to catch anyone who did not see the email, only to find out it was closed.

It was pretty windy out here today.  I recorded 66 MPH at around 4
PM,,,,, that was just a short while before the power went out.... and as
I write this, it is still out!  That's one of the main reasons I got a
generator!  I made that promise after we lost power for 4 days after
hurricane Ike (I think that was it).  At that time I had a small
generator that sort of got us through it. (and that was also before we
had county water, so we had to pump it ourselves).
