TWL: RE: All Chain Worth it?
Wed, Jan 17, 2001 11:44 PM
If you have an electric windlass, all chain makes it pretty easy to veer or retrieve lots of anchor rode with little effort or mess. One solution to the bow down attitude is to find a way to route the chain farther aft and lower.

Cape Ann MA is an easy one-day birding trip from Connecticut
Sat, Mar 5, 2011 2:19 AM
I hit six other top spots around Cape Ann, and had a Razorbill off the Eastern Point Coast Guard Station, a 3rd winter Iceland Gull off of Andrews Point, and about 50 Common Eiders in Gloucester Harbor. I tried Loblolly Cove (a very small cove) for the Barrows Goldeneye but it was not there.

COA Website - poor performance
Wed, Apr 21, 2021 6:40 PM
This morning around 10am our COA website performance became really slow, sometimes unreachable, and sometimes showing errors. Coincidentally, this occurred while Cynthia Ehlinger and I were making important changes to the website (more to come but significant updates applied).

difference() shown in preview but not rendered
Wed, Feb 14, 2018 4:08 PM
Hello and thank you for accepting me on this forum/mailing list I am new to OpenScad and 3DPrinting so I wanted to start with something "easy"... a die! I wrote the code and everything was nice on the preview pane. Nevertheless when I build the object (F6) the difference disapears.

TWL: Boot Top Width
Wed, May 7, 2003 1:10 PM
Looking for guidance on the width of the boot top. Current plan is for dk green topsides, white boot, and red bottom. Existing width tells me nothing, as the boot and the bottom are both black. Previous boats have had light or white topsides with a dark boot.
