of views and experience, and the arrival of new people to the List with yet another set of perspectives to offer. While off-list replies are sometimes appropriate, I for one would like to see as many folks on-line as possible. Don't be shy. We really do want the benefit of your participation. Cheers, Garrett

em to be this line https://github.com/openscad/openscad/blob/0904a3b3a5b56b16bb423b177972468eeca775a9/src/Camera.cc#L75 I don't understand what (bbox.center()-this->center).norm() is trying to do. It is this that makes the view change size depending on where it is and removing it solves the problem. A 100 cube is a constant size regardless of where it is. Here is the same cube. So I can submit a PR unless somebody can explain why that expression is needed. In general it doesn't give the optimum zoom but it does fit the scene in the window unless you make the window thinner than it is tall. It basically ensures the bounding sphere of the object doesn't exceed the height of the screen regardless of how the object is oriented. It should really look at the bounding rectangle of the projected 2D image compared with the window dimensions.

dio kit for reuse by other operators. As such an accurate time reference is important, hence this project. So far I've based everything on a number of published sites and designs to learn the basics before launching into something more adventurous and am building a simple PLL locked OCXO using a Navman Jupiter Tu60 GPS and an IsoTemp OCXO. Together these will exceed the limitations of my equipment in measurement, so I'll probably have to build a second one for comparison on the DSO or look into other measurement methods to validate the results. Lots to learn... -- -- Teach your kids Science, or somebody else will :/ jason@ball.net vk2vjb@google.com callsign: vk2vjb

At least implemented this way, it allows easy replacement of the underlying PJ_MAX and PJ_MIN macros with some other kind of implementation.

I could keep track of all the boats around me without the need for a dedicated lookout. For a short-handed husband and wife team it is another silent crewmember. It is no longer expensive or difficult to install or use. It doesn't even use much power. I have used it in fog on Barnegat Bay, Cape May and Delaware Bay.
