If arriving in early am you must obtain your ticket from a machine just inside the gate so be sure to have $1.00 and $2.00 and/or 25 cent coins before you arrive at the docks as there is no place to get change and the machine does not make change. (There is a change machine there if you want to chance it).

The non rechargeable Lithium COIN battery has a discharge function that holds its voltage fairly constant right up until the end. They will last a very long time with just 5 micro amps of discharge. The problem with the Super Cap is the charge circuitry could damage the GPS if not properly protected.

I have seen some RTC’s that won’t last a month on a coin cell.

Looks like a thick coin with battery, ram and RTC built in. Even used dozens of them map temperature distribution in a aircraft fuel tank. Also available as a 1-wire device. For precision I've used Pico Technology PT105 4 channel PRD interfaces. Robert G8RPI.

The older units used two 9.6V DEAC coin cell stacks for each of the 19.2V packs. Hope this helps, Robert G8RPI. ________________________________ From: J. L.
