24 volt charger replacement...
Sat, May 2, 2009 3:14 PM
The full price of getting 2 new chargers with all new cabling was about $400. The IOTA's come with a 2 year warranty vs the 90 day warranty of a repaired Newmar. Again, it was a pretty easy decision. Now all chargers are 12 volts and there is no special 24 volt one. I like that scheme better because it gives more backup potential.

This idea is somewhat easy through HF. That's actually the base idea. Get some wide range synthesizer (eg like HMC832LP6GE or LTC6946) for the test signal and one for the detection part. Mix down the received signal and use some ADC to move into digital domain. There preprocess the data in an FPGA (data reduction) and do all difficult stuff in the PC.

We also installed a waterfall near bird feeders, very easy, and that has allowed us to see up close many species of warblers each spring and fall.

stocking

Purees well, whips well and easy to store. I've never used a pressure cooker and am not going to start. I do have a crockpot I sometimes use, but to me it 'all tastes alike' so I'm not a big fan. I will take along my George Foreman though. Many uses for that! electric coffee pot and also a plastic coffee press for emergencies.
