Ron Rogers ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Bradley" | | If you are not interested in a tablet computer, then I would recommend | that you look for computers that are built and tested to the | MIL-STD-810 standard. This standard documents all of the environmental | testing required for militarized hardware.

[Ontbirds] Varied Thrush at Cold Creek (Jan. 17/10)
Sun, Jan 17, 2010 8:21 PM
The Varied Thrush described below was again present about 10:50 am when I arrived, and showed up again about 30 minutes later, feeding on the same stump as shown in the original photograph. It gets a bit wary/skitish when there is a group of birders. Apparently the red-bellied woodpecker was seen prior to my arrival.

We multiplied 10 to 320 and then used an SRD to get to 9280 and applied a sideband at 87.36 MHz to it. The 87.36 MHz synthesizer was a phase locked VCXO using a 5th OT crystal. It took me a long time for me to sell this to Len Cutler. It was pretty advanced for 1989.
