As far as I know, that's mostly dependent on the life of the Hypalon
itself. Hypalon breaks down very slowing in sunlight. I forget the
number that the engineer at Gaco (www.gaco.com) told me (they're the
manufacturers of Hypalon, located in the South Seattle area) but I
think it's something like .25 mils per year for boats located in some
place like Florida.

Actually, Hypalon. is manufactured by DuPont.

Actually, Hypalon. is manufactured by DuPont.

Well...Hypalon pellets are manufactured by DuPont. There are a couple
of companies that manufacture Hypalon products (it's extremely toxic)
such as roofing compounds. Gaco is the only manufacturer of Hypalon
coatings for inflatables.
