[Ontbirds] Eurasian Tree Sparrow at Niagara on the Lake
Fri, Nov 28, 2014 5:27 PM
It was challenging to pick out from all the House Sparrows visiting the same feeder along with starlings and cowbirds that it could hide behind. The whole flock would flush at the least provocation (e.g. Blue Jay call) so it was difficult to do a systematic scan of every bird. The whole flock would disappear for 5 to 10 minutes at a time.

Why not hang loose for a coupl;e of days and visit the Annapolis Sailboat Show? October 6-10 at the town harbor. Come on by to C CUSHIONS booth (H-1&2) just to say Hello or talk about Closed Cell Foam Custom Cushions. The OWNERS will be there to answer any questions and tell you about our products (you don't have to have a sailboat).

Their tech guy told me that 90% of cell phone | problems can be fixed by simply removing the battery for 10 seconds and | reinstalling it. It worked for me, since that's how I'm writing this this!

Re: [CT Birds] Greenwich Tod's Point Osprey Update
Thu, Apr 11, 2013 9:20 PM
Short visit to Eagle Pond nest this am (10:30 - 11:00). Both Osprey were 'taking a break' in the trees surrounding the nest. It's bigger, and sparrows have also taken up residence in the lower parts of the nest. At one point, there were six sparrows bustling in and out of various open spaces, taking advantage of the ready made enclosures.
