Trawlers, Harleys, Hondas and stuff- it's all good
Mon, Jul 31, 2006 8:06 PM
We all get along fine. All of us are enjoying the same "life style" if you like. Some more luxurious than me, but we all enjoy the same things. Motorcycles, now that is a different matter. I like Harleys, but I dont own one.

Re: [time-nuts] Why do crystals go bad?

Happens mostly in mobile gear. You can do it with random vibe, but much easier to do with a sine at the right frequency. 6) Contamination. Put a fine layer of crud on the surface of a crystal and you can stop it dead.

TWL: Re: Pacific Trawlers

Standard on all the older PTs are: all counter tops are marble and 2 doors in the galley cabinets have leaded stained glass panels, SS sinks, and the walls and ceilings inside are Formica with a lot of teak trim. My guess is that the PT you are interested in is similarly equipped. I hope this helps.

Kevin, Here is the Canadian Customs site where you will find answers to any question you might have. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/noncan-eng.html Bottom line is you may take a limited amount of alcohol into Canada (all details on their website) and yes, you can take your dog.

I use the lists.samurai.com website as my primary means of viewing the list. I never read the digest before deleting it, and the only reason I recieve the digest at all is so that I can contribute to the list.

Smith's Point rules
Tue, Dec 3, 2013 5:47 PM
The top of the point is off-limits year-round. Please stay below the high tide line and do not go on top of spit to view the owl. USFWS would like everyone to stay on the marsh side and off the Sound side, even below the high tide line.
