AAfCW bird walk at Long Beach Stratford tomorrow...
Thu, Apr 18, 2013 2:26 PM
Many people on this list do volunteer and contribute a lot, so thanks to all who do! If you have not then consider trying something new this spring and summer and making a real difference in CT. Let this list serv be more than just emails about what could, should, and must be done.

Re Terns
Sun, Jul 15, 2018 12:04 PM
I've been back and fourth to Great Gull Island all season. We have plenty of fish(for the second year in a row we have had what seems like and endless supply of Sand Lance right offshore. Now the Terns are also bringing in Butterfish,Bluefish and Menhaden.... I haven't noticed any less Terns. Our problem is thick vegetation this year.

Re: [OpenSCAD] the "write" library and the 19.05 release

I'm not a fan of letting code say "trust me, hide all the warnings".  Over time, the amount of hidden warnings will grow until you end up with code that is truly broken, and often much harder to fix than if somebody had stayed on top of it. On 6/25/19 2:26 PM, jon wrote: > > Thanks!

[Ontbirds] HSR: Grimsby, ON - Beamer Conservation Area (12 Mar 2015) 23 Raptors

All counting is done by volunteers. Not all members are counters nor does a counter have to be a member. Typically one person is the designated counter for each day but other observers present assist with the spotting and identification. Counting is done from a steel observation tower with a wooden floor.

Hello all, My Sentry SM1260-3 battery charger let go with that teltale smell of burning electronics so it's time for a replacement. I have (2) 8d's and (1) group 27 to keep topped up. I stay on a mooring most of the time and use the generator to power the charger and top off the batteries.

In the code you provided, below, you use all functions except at the very end: $fn=64; bottom = arc(angle=[210,330], d=20); top = offset(bottom, r=1); shape = concat(top, reverse(bottom)); polygon(shape); the result is that this fails because polygon() is not a function myProfsB = [for (i=[0:14]) xscale(1, polygon(concat(offset(bottom, r=1), reverse(arc(angle
