It's .003 mil. Does this stuff have a Mylar or other backing to reduce the chance of tearing during the installation? Does anyone have a cheaper source? Regards, Larry and Teri M/V Cigano, 47' Prairie Sundeck Cruiser Lying: 64 Cypress Road Covington, LA

Re: T&T: Advice on Equalizing & Tackometer?

It takes about 10 minutes to calibrate, especially if you have a mechanical tach to use. I also picked up a Veeder-Root hand-held digital tach on eBay, it's great for troubleshooting all manner of mechanical devices. Hope this helps, Scott Welch FirstClass Product Manager www.firstclass.com Those who make no mistake rarely make anything.

Re: T&T: Batteries

They are much lighter than the 8Ds, but really pack the power (1080 Amp Hours at the 10 hour rate). The price I got from my local battery shop was excellent. I have a bank of 12 of these in series/parallel to get 24 volts at 3240 AH. Here's a link to the specs: http://www.discover-energy.com/files/EV216A.pdf No connection, etc.

It's worthwhile noting that New Hampshire ("Live Free or Die") has implemented a policy charging people for the cost of their rescue (see http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/29/national/main5451330.shtml for an example).

In addition to the free and family-friendly, Tacoma Studio Tour (10/13 and 10/14), there are plenty of ways to learn, engage, and create with professional teaching artists around the city.

At the end of the day I turned in my collection and received a few coins from the scrap dealer. At that age I had no idea what coins were, though I had heard ya could throw them in the fountain ... so I did. Then I went home and the grandparents freaked out.

She was visiting that region while producing her "Healing Planet" pilot, which is about shamanism all over the world (http://www.healingplanet.tv/) My boat name is "Refugio", a Latin word with a fairly clear meaning.
