Re: GL: Red/Green Color Insensitivity

Green cars are problematic, but red ones are easy. On the water, red and green on a boat are easy, but clear versus green requires study. Frosted signal lights while driving are easy while flashing red versus flashing yellow (look too orange for me) require caution. The Ishihara plate test is a disaster, but sometimes I squeak past.

Re: GL: Lightning woe

Lightning seeks an easy path to ground . It would rather travel thru a wire to the water than thru fiberglass. Or thru fiberglass to engine , to propeller , taking out the electrical system as it travels. That's why its always the tallest pine tree in the woods that gets hit . Its tall and a pine tree is moist , easier route than air.

With all due respect; What I dislike is the pre-entry of a company that has direct knowledge of the format, tying up the easy (and less expensive) methods of decoding the time data using prior inside information and the patent system. Let's say you find out what this PM modulation format is and decide to make a NTP server based on the new format.
