Instead of zippers
Wed, Oct 20, 2010 3:00 PM
Both these systems
die
early and often. Go visit the "sailrite" web site and look at the "common sense fasteners". Figure a way to use them for your application and then forget about early failures! My Triumph sports car used both these fasteners AND snaps on the convertible
top
. It also had a zipper on the inside.

all
! I'm in a desperate need for help. At our school we had given up hope of getting a
mobile
language lab, but fortunately we got news (on Monday) that we could get one if we get bids from companies before April 30th... so now the determining factor is time.

The shape of the
coin
profile is wrong. The circular cutout intersects the rim at the
top
, but it should intersect further in, where the two circles have matching angles on the rims. The transition should not be detectable. Try 'lifting it' slightly, or reducing the diameter with a fraction. The fillets...

Re: GL: NYC Marina

One of the tourist things we did was to visit the
top
of the Empire State Building. Through the
coin
operated binoculars we could just see "Fiddlesticks" down below at the marina, but it was easy to tell that she was rocking and rolling in the slip. I wonder why they don't build some type of breakwater. It seems that almost anything would be some help.
