If such a boat were salvaged, would all the wiring and mechanical systems require complete replacement or could they be flushed, treated and restored to service. With all the boats lost to hurricanes I'd imagine there is a significant amount of experience with this topic.

I'm all for a full and free discussion, and love reading those lengthy discriptions and reports of tests, etc. They're highly educational and frequently useful, personally.
