Top for sundeck
Sat, Jun 26, 2004 7:12 PM
I would need to add either a fiberglass or soft top over the aft sundeck. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of any boatyards in the New Orleans/Florida Panhandle area that can do this? J. Clint Cheveallier

TWL: Adjustable table top
Sun, Dec 29, 2002 3:32 PM
Hi All, and Happy New Year !!! (almost) Sometime back someone (?) was asking about an adjustable table top for the salon which in the lowered position would be a coffee table, but when raised would serve as a dining table. I just received the new Rockler catalog yesterday and they might have what you were looking for.

We have had to change all file names to the suffix .html so if you a have a trawlerworld.com page bookmarked with the suffix .htm, you'll need to update the bookmark. The home port URL of http://www.trawlerworld.com remains the same. --Georgs

I was concerned about adding weight up top where it causes the most problem. I wound up with two aluminum tops made from tube. You can get them to cover them with fabric or what I did which was a thin fiberglass cover that looks better than the fabric. The top is only 1/8" thick and is gel coated. This is the guy that made and installed them.
