I agree; especially after all the commentary as to why it is important to have one. Henry

TWL: Fuel tank repair from above
Tue, Aug 26, 2003 1:25 PM
Sanderling's port fuel tank has a very small leak near the top. The last time I refueled, she lost about 1 gallon, all caught in the side bilge and hand pumped into bottles - not a drop reached the main bilge.

All counting is done by volunteers. Not all members are counters nor does a counter have to be a member. Typically one person is the designated counter for each day but other observers present assist with the spotting and identification. Counting is done from a steel observation tower with a wooden floor.

And when they change, finding the relevant commit is pretty easy with git and it will show exactly what need to be changed in your driver (because that commit fixed every other driver in-tree for the same change). And searching LKML will also give all the gory details. It's like half a day or one day of work at the most.
