Re: [time-nuts] OT: eBay bidding question

Then some other bidder, bidder 6, 7, or 8, placed a series of bids that were all less than bidder 5's maximum. That's how bidder 5 might show with that string of bids. >When bidder 8 realized his bid was the same >as bidder 6's, after a little deliberation he raised his and is now on top >by the correct bid increment.

Re: GL: Boating with Washer and Dryer

I have a close friend who works at Viking yachts, who some of you might know is a top quality and expense sport fishing boat manufacturer. In a tour of their factory once, I notice they were using Kenmore washer and dryers so I asked why would they choose a middle-quality washer dryer and not something more "top of the line".

And, much if not all of the tank top may need to be cut away. It seems that many have had to resort to cutting up the old tanks to remove anyway. And, every situation is unique and many of us often underestimate the scope of projects..... but for some this could be an easier and durable fix.

Re: [OpenSCAD] Extending OpenSCAD from assembler to C or Perlish language and adding standard library

I get the impression that none of the Openscad libraries has floated to the top of the charts in the same way, perhaps because the scope of Openscad usage is much broader.

Ah, before I forget, running instead TBoltmon fromTrimble does not encrease the temperature at all ! So the culprit must be the math or/ and graph. routines, I think.

Re: [time-nuts] pick and place problems/design (was: OT stuffing boards)

If the part is oriented top-bottom and you have it on the board both top-bottom and left-right .. you need to be able to re-orient it after you have picked the part. If it is a diode or semiconductor , you have four obvious orientations for the part. Doing four reels for every diode or semi just isn’t the way it is done.

This is on top of the more normal Nyquist stuff that you would expect of any digital gizmo. Tossing a square wave in on top of the Nyquist issues normally turns things into a major mess spur wise.
