But when center=true is rendered like a cylinder so all 3 planes dissect it in the middle of the object.

Resolution Issue
Tue, Feb 21, 2017 6:34 PM
It has three sections, top, middle, and bottom, and the middle section I have curving between the top and bottom by way of a difference call with the middle section and a torus around it. The issue is that no matter what I set $fn to, the middle section doesn't smooth out. I keep getting flat faces all the way around.

Just a quick note to say thanks to all who saw me thru the problems I had with my fried inverter in the Bahamas due to their shore power. The problems were never overcome........the inverter is fried and other systems on the boat are now affected.

Between Chicago and Mobile we used the laptop with Fugawi and an old set of Maptech BSB CD's. It isn't really all that necessary to have a chartplotter on the rivers, but it is convenient. The SoftCharts look interesting and economical but don't appear to include the Trent-Severn, Georgian Bay and North Channel.

Questions about include statements
Sat, Apr 17, 2021 2:36 PM
My top level assembly file references all of the part files using include statements and puts it all together. 1. My first question is about include statements: How do I conditionally "include" library files? Each part and the assembly needs a common library, for example, metric_screws.scad.

Your job as parents is to teach them to control all three. My job as a grandad is to tell you how you are doing it all wrong!
