Re: [time-nuts] Conducting Bench Top Material

Bench tops were conductive rubber. Nobody had thought of the wrist strap yet. In those days, rubber was made conductive with carbon black. It was almost as effective as a pencil at marking things. If the anti-static material is not black, maybe it won't be a marking hazard.

Conte Makes the top Refuge List

Maybe if we had Whooping Cranes we could have beaten out Aransas to make it into the top 5. Pretty impressive finish I'd say, especially since I had to use one of my wild cards to get us in the top 20 choices. Thank you all for your efforts!. One of my other wild cards got to 7th place Seney NWR in Michigan.

Tue, Aug 19, 2008 7:16 PM
But, by prioritizing the top 10 for me and the top 10 for Kemba, we really BOTH found the "boat of our dreams." Top 30 Criteria 1. Live above the waterline with large windows to let the light in and to see the view 2. Inside helm station 3. Sea kindly, stable, and well built 4.

The nostalgia affect peaks and dies as the old folks die. On top of that, time is an esoteric field. Put something up on eBay and you'll be very lucky to get 100 people looking at it. So do your loved ones (if that fits) and the next generation of time-nuts a favor and disperse your collection.

Re: [OpenSCAD] polyhedron no top level geometry to render

faces have the wrong vertex order - previewing with View >> Thrown Together shows this in purple - it renders when the faces are replaced with [6,2,0],[0,4,6] Nowadays the faces don't have to be triangles now so you could just define the 6 quadrilateral faces of the cube Chris -- View this message in context: http://forum.openscad.org/polyhedron-no-top-level-geometry-to-render-tp12310p12311
