Re: [time-nuts] Raspberry Pi 4 oscillator replacement

On a purpose built device ( = one intended use) it is not uncommon to see them saving die space on the clock tree. You have one target input that it will accept. If you are lucky, it might accept 2X and 4X that frequency. I suspect that this approach also makes the part a bit easier to test / validate.

As we all know, there’s a long journey that requires hard work even before becoming a nurse. Hello nursing school! LSCC’s prestigious nursing program boasts incredible students and alumni. We sat down and talked with a few of them about choosing to be a nurse and why LSCC was the best choice to do so.

TWL: Twin Disc Operators Manual Online
Wed, Jul 31, 2002 1:50 AM
'Lo All, For those of you with Twin Disc Transmissions, but no operator's manual, there is a rather unique operator's manual on the TD website. It is a manual that covers all the TD transmissions, with pertinent tables for each transmission. It is in Adobe format (PDF), so you have to have that program to access it.

Thank you Rudy, for all the posts that increased my understanding, the posts that made me smile, grin and sometimes laugh out loud. Thank you also for the moments when you put the keyboard aside and decided not to post despite sore provocation.

TWL: All Hams
Sat, Feb 1, 2003 2:28 AM
e buy a true Ham rig, i.e an Icom 756 Pro II? Or, should we stick to the boater standard and buy an Icom 802? We do not intend to use it for email. We hope to never use it to yell "help" (i.e. DSC) but we understand that we certainly may need to someday. We want to use it primarily to talk to other Hams. No one has yet told us that there is a better radio for true "Hamming" than the 756 Pro II. We also understand that a true Ham rig is not legal to broadcast on Marine frequencies and may not be licensed as a ship station because it does not meet Title 47, Part 80 requirements. How much do Listees transmit on the marine SSB frequencies? Listening is, of course, legal on any radio. Our reading indicates that it would be unusual for us to want to transmit on the marine SSB frequencies. The chit-chat that we are interested in seems to occur on Ham frequencies. The land based Ham folks prefer the true Ham rigs whereas the boaters seem to prefer the marine radios. Ruggedness and water resistance (the marine radio guys' arguments) is not much of an issue for us, or is it? Any help? Thank you in advance. We hope to talk to you via HF soon.
