The all-chain anchor was the last one set. When the boat was at rest at the end of its all-chain rode, I was within boathook range of the other five rode bitter-end buoys.

All you need is the artistic vision of Michelangelo and the mathematical capabilities of Laplace, then this type of problem is trivial. However for the rest of us.... From your original (red?) image it looks as if it is half a cylinder, with an the top sliced off at an angle.

If you are not PC literate, I would recommend buying a dedicated Radar platform from one of the top vendors. Of course now they all offer integrated solutions as well, so you really don't have to give up the Radar overlay functionality.
