It was a straightforward greeting, to the people who seemed most interested in the topic, pro and con. I then reviewed some of the comments, pro and con, and reiterated my own position on needless quotations. Holy moly! If that was somehow taken as a public flogging of all those named, I apologize to each and every one, regardless of their position.
