SCT October 10 Conference - cases to look for

Scotusblog reported on a number of cases that will be considered at the Court's October 10 conference. Some have particular significance for local government. By listing these cases, I don't mean to imply that other cases might not have interest, I simply may have missed them. Should certiorari be granted IMLA will consider whether to participate.

Marten: One has been visiting the Visitor Centre feeders irregularly, and one or two have been seen fairly frequently around the garbage facility at Mew Lake Campground. BIRDERS: Please let us know the date, number and location of birds you observe when you visit Algonquin Park.

Washington Rd in > Salisbury (my first visit) produced my FOY 1 Canada and 10 BT Blue Warblers (yes, I did not have BT > Blue for the year yet). I checked Colebrook: Durst Rd. (MDC West Branch Area), Litchfield County, > Connecticut, US -- the title from Dave Rosgen's 7/2 (7:15 pm) entry in which 10 Magnolia Warblers > were reported.

Also increasing are numbers of AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES at various local feeders, and small flocks of EVENING GROSBEAKS continue to visit feeders in the Eardley-Masham and Bradley Rd. area in Quebec. Thank you - Good Birding!
