From Judy Moore 1/05: Woodbridge, Community Gardens - Black Vulture circling the fields From Ted Gilman: 1/04/10 – Greenwich , Audubon Center – BROWN CREEPER in woodland north of orchard From SH Johnston, Farmington: 01/05/10 -- 1 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (adult male) at suet feeder. Has been visiting daily for about five days. Very territorial.

Common raven, ruby crowned kinglet and purple finch

10 9 10 west hartford backyard This morning while trimming down my perennial garden in prep for winter, I had a common raven flyover. The croak was unmistakeable. Also had a ruby crowned knglet and a female purple finch.
