The Western Grebe was visible with scope about 9:10am just beyond distant single rock straight out from rocky point at Cove Is. unfortunately it has gone missing since about 9:20am, despite about 8 people scanning. I just found the Western Grebe about 10 minutes ago, it is in the same spot as this morning. I am with a group of people (Tom B, Hugh W, Steve B) on the rocky protrusion off the beach. There was a lot of sun glare earlier but the sun moved & the waters calmed. It is quite far out but recognizable.
