32' Fales Trawler
Sun, Apr 10, 2005 3:44 PM
She transports VERY easy with little prep, I have moved her from Florida to Houston, TX then from Houston, TX to Dallas, TX with no problems. I have moved in-land from the coastal areas and would like to move to a trailerable express or small trawler for more practical lake cruising in the Dallas, TX area.

I use to see Junco all summer in the W Htfd reservoirs in the back with young. Often along the power lines there. Paul Carrier

Great Circle Cruise Sept 26/06

Thanks to all of you who volunteered. The beauty of the listees (boat people) is the quick response to any and all types of SOS, no matter how trivial. We were rescued by perfectly lovely people who gave us a dock, power, water and fed us till we couldn't eat one more bite.

Re: [time-nuts] 5680A update (temperature stabilization)
Tue, Jan 17, 2012 9:01 PM
The heat sink inside is small so its easy to see why all sides of the case should be close in temperature. Like you in tinkering, I attached 4 reasonable size heat sinks with the case off and noticed I could drop the internal heat sink to 115 degrees. Granted everything cooks inside but it seems a bad way to run things.

Presqu'ile Birding Report for Week Ending May 1, 2003.
Fri, May 2, 2003 12:59 AM
Four other shorebirds, identified only as to genus (Calidris), were seen on Gull Island on April 26. Now that May has arrived, other shorebirds should be expected to arrive soon. The 19th anniversary of a Mongolian Plover sighting at Presqu'ile is this coming Sunday, and die-hard optimists will likely be on the beach hoping for a repeat occurrence.

Detroit River Hawk Watch (28 Nov 2023) 7 Raptors
Tue, Nov 28, 2023 7:36 PM
The sky was nearly all blue, all day, but small cumulus cloudlets were starting to appear as time went by. Raptor Observations: I think we saw more local eagles today than migrants of any species. Three red-tailed hawks took the top step of the podium.

In which > case why do they epoxy them all together instead of simply melting > them into the desired shape? Just the slug. I would imagine that they use epoxy because it's easy. Generally speaking, space isn't that much of an issue. Since it's really easy to work with they can make troughs for things like plumbing and wire runs where space is tight.

Water based bottom paint
Sat, Feb 27, 2016 12:50 PM
Easy to apply, easy clean up and no noxious smell. Power wash the bottom at the end of the season all good. The only bottom is at trawler speeds the paint doesn't seem to wear away like an ablative paint should so some paint build up occurs. Tom Kataras Greek's Folly Ocean Alexander 43 lying Jupiter, Fl
