It also might report more sat’s than the firmware expects and everything would quickly die. That’s certainly the case with retrofitting some of the other early GPSDO’s. I think I’d rather play with faking out non-GPS version.

You could spend days going through all the datasheets and >> websites - I suspect that they ALL have about the same power consumption >> for a given amount of processing horsepower - same feature size on the >> die, after all - so it's more about peripherals and ease of use > > There are way too many, IMHO.

The main way to overcome it is to have an isopotential environment which naturally occurs with natural materials where all charges rapidly drain away. Wood is good, it does not produce charge when rubbed and rapidly drains any charge away. And unless soaking wet it will not electrocute you if you are leaning on it when you touch and active power lead.

Ultimately you will fill all the voids between decks. 7. Cover the area with a piece of polyethylene plastic and put weights on top to compress the layers together. A couple of layers of brick work fine. 8. Allow to cure about a week. Remove the weights and plastic. Sand and paint the surface to hide the pockwork of drill holes.

Hi Sorry for the blank… The easy way to mount the antenna: Head over to Home Depot and get a 1" Tee, a 1" flange, a 1" nipple, a 12" to 18" 1" pipe, and a 6" long 1" pipe. The antenna goes on top of the 18" pipe. That screws into the tee. The bottom of the Tee gets the 6" pipe. Coax runs straight through the 18" and 6" pipe.
