Re: [OpenSCAD] Easy way to get the area area of a polygon?
Tue, Apr 12, 2016 5:11 AM
It should be noted that all this is true for simple polygons. > function area(p) = abs( sum_list( [ for(i=[0:len(p)-1]) cross2D( p[i], > p[(i+1)%len(p)] ) ] ) )/2; > > function sum_list(v, i=0, sum=0) = i==len(v) ?

birds in tree tops
Fri, Oct 5, 2007 10:21 PM
Today, here in my Harwinton yard, @ 5:30 as the sun was setting, their was a very large movement of birds through the tops of the trees. This often happens, as birds seem to follow the suns travels up hills and Mts as it sets. I live at the top of a 900' hill, and this wave had lots of birds and moved quickly amongst the tree tops.

Recommended Website: If you are not already aware of it, Athlinks (www.athlinks.com) is a pretty cool website that logs results for thousands if not millions of race participants automatically. It includes races of all shapes and sizes including triathlons, running races, etc. You can sign up for a free account and then “claim” all of your races.

Thompson's Waterseal? (endsnip) I wouldn't use Thompsons on Sunbrella. The product I've used for 6 or 8 years is 303 Fabric Guard.

I'm sure there have been times when we all wish we could have outrun some weather but with the availability of good reports these days and a willingness to take it easy speed is not critical. To me the passage is as important as the goal.

OMG, the BOSL library Std and BOSL2 were easy to install and creating gears was exceptionally easy. Thank you so much!
