Re: GL: Tipping
Wed, Aug 22, 2007 9:24 PM
We just completed the loop and visited 89 ports. We usually tipped $5 per person that helped us docked. If we fueled and pumped out and then docked we usually tipped $10. If one person helped us docked and then helped with power and water hook up we tipped $10. .

Nice raven flock in Canton
Mon, Jan 19, 2009 2:25 PM
I don't normally post things that are semi-common or not chasable, but I thought it was somewhat noteworthy that I had a flock of 10 ravens fly over my house this morning while I was filling my thistle feeders to accomodate the flock of siskins that continues to visit.

Eurasian Collared-Dove in Marysville
Fri, May 9, 2003 7:33 PM
The Eurasian Collared-Dove was seen this am at 10:15 and still there at 10:45 when we left. It was first spotted on the transformer in front of the blue house on n. side just before the R.C. church. It moved across the road and back. It seems comfortable there. Directions Take 401 to Marysville exit.
