TWL: RE: Re: All Chain Worth it?

By the way, if you select all chain, add a 20' length of rope at the bitter end, so that if you can't get your ground tackle off the bottom you can cut the line.

After one day, I have a sore back from crouching all the time (I'm 6'). So.....an enclosed cabin, 6'2" tall, with a couple of quiet outboards sounds very appealing to us. -Greg

All, My wife and I have been lurking on the list because we (should I say "I"?) intend to purchase a trawler. So, we are learning from all of you. Thank you. This note has a different purpose, however.

Hal, Check out the Analog Devices website. Good info on DDS Dacs there. You want to stay a bit away from the 1/2fs Nyquist limit in your DA. The reason is the image coming down from your 1MHz clock.

Re: [CT Birds] Boothe Park HW Golden Eagle/Goshawk/record-breaking day
Mon, Sep 27, 2010 12:15 AM
It was an easy ID, and we even had a few minutes to admire it as it soared up before heading out. A bit before 3:30 Charlie and I had a juvenile Northern Goshawk come in, once again, low and directly over us, also making for a relatively easy ID. The oddest part of the day was the parade of Merlins that started soon after.
