TWL: Re: All Chain Worth it?

I have dove on our boat when it was bobbing like a cork (and we're a heavy boat) and found nearly all of the chain lying along the bottom. There are also other ways that you can improve your anchor system on the fly such as dangling a weight partway along the line - like a fishing cannonball. Paul Desjardins paul.desjardins2@gmail.com Phone: (860) 623-3696 Thank you to all my birding friends who congratulated me on finding the Townsend’s Warbler. I am so glad that so many people were able to see it and also a great job for those who photographed it! I am wondering if westerly winds might be responsible for it being here.

We stopped at Lock 26 because just west of the lock there is an abandoned RR bridge that is the lowest fixed bridge on the canal (Low bridge, everybody down!). We got close to it and determined that we could just pass underneath if we lowered our bimini top.
