Thank you to all my birding friends who congratulated me on finding the Townsend’s Warbler. I am so glad that so many people were able to see it and also a great job for those who photographed it! I am wondering if westerly winds might be responsible for it being here. A person who regularly sends me bird photos that lives in Galveston, Texas just today commented about the westerly winds in his area transporting birds that normally migrate to the west of him.
Food for thought.
