Are those all > mil-surplus or using some secret source of tritium paint... They're not surplus, and you can buy plenty of new sights and sighting devices containing tritium. Generally speaking, an artifical sapphire tube is coated with phosphor, and then filled with the gas.

Kingston RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD, Update Jan. 3, '03
Sat, Jan 3, 2004 8:36 PM
Donald Miller & I visited the RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD this morning at 10:30. It was seen first flying back and forth over the feeder and into the large cedar tree then it went to feed at the feeder for about 20 seconds. While we watched the RUFOUS an immature BALD EAGLE flew along the river shore and perched on the top of a large pine tree.

TWL: Checking In
Sat, Oct 7, 2000 2:52 PM
We visited every marina we could find and considered how soft all of us in the USA have become when we discovered that none had more than a 10-amp. electric circuit for any slip. The trip ended in the mountains of North Carolina where a seminar on bypass oil filters, etc. was given. The tall ships in Halifax was one of the highlights of the trip.

TWL: Storage Solutions? Ideas for putting 10 lbs in a 5 lb space?
Wed, Aug 20, 2003 8:40 PM
I am helping someone put together a presentation for Trawler Fest (San Francisco - October) to help solve the age-old boat problem of fitting "10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound sack." Contact me offline - even simple ideas/pictures would be helpful. Peter Pisciotta Willard 36 Sedan San Francisco CA
