I need some help from anyone who has cool storage ideas (preferably pictures)
of managing storage on a boat. I am helping someone put together a
presentation for Trawler Fest (San Francisco - October) to help solve the
age-old boat problem of fitting "10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound sack."
Contact me offline - even simple ideas/pictures would be helpful.

Peter, et al,
See several pictures of tool and parts storage on our web site. Click on

I also mounted a vice on a length of 2x10 with carpeting tacked to the
bottom. Very handy.
Another handy place is the space fore and aft of the fuel and water tanks
on many Taiwan boats. Cut away part of the sound shield and there is up to
16 inches of space, great for little used items and spare parts. This has no
effect on the sound proofing qualities.
An extra perk on cutting into the sound shield is that you can now SEE the
top and ends of the tanks to keep track of their condition. You do WANT to
know that , don't you!
