Electronic Charts & Book and Cruising Guides

In fact, we are currently finishing up a new Chicago to Mobile guide! Anyway, the company just turned five years old and a couple of our subscribers who received our January email suggested we post this year's "thank you" web offer to the Buy-Sell-Trade list.

Re: T&T: Valve Stem Wrenches

Sears use to carry them, but having a hard time finding them on their website. The mobile specialty tool companies, those folks that run around in trucks and service machanic shops should be able to get them. Bike shops also, since some of the nuts used on bikes require thin bladed wrenches. If the nut is small enough, see if ignition wrenches will work.

DOCXO vs. Rubidium medium-term stability
Fri, Nov 19, 2010 8:56 PM
The mobile station can be synchronized to GPS initially to synchronize its clock as described above but will then have to rely on a free-running oscillator. The stability of this oscillator will dictate how much drift the mobile station's clock will experience relative to the reference stations. Keeping this drift as low as possible is my goal.

It also might report more sat’s than the firmware expects and everything would quickly die. That’s certainly the case with retrofitting some of the other early GPSDO’s. I think I’d rather play with faking out non-GPS version.

You could spend days going through all the datasheets and >> websites - I suspect that they ALL have about the same power consumption >> for a given amount of processing horsepower - same feature size on the >> die, after all - so it's more about peripherals and ease of use > > There are way too many, IMHO.

Re: [time-nuts] Conducting Bench Top Material

The main way to overcome it is to have an isopotential environment which naturally occurs with natural materials where all charges rapidly drain away. Wood is good, it does not produce charge when rubbed and rapidly drains any charge away. And unless soaking wet it will not electrocute you if you are leaning on it when you touch and active power lead.
