In the various papers on the subject > you see antennas on a 2’ mast mounted on tops of hills if it’s a “quick” setup. That may only be 2 feet sticking up above the surface. There could well be a 10 meter deep double pipe.

No damage is done if the wave doesn't reach the top, where the sand has not been eroded, but if the wave extends to the top, it will carry away the sand/soil that creates the bank and holds the trees. The cumulative effect is easy to see - trees tipping over that are several feet up the bank.

Interlux Ultra-Kote replacement

All but one of the ablative paints, the budget-priced Bottomkote Pro, repelled hard growth at 14 months. Five ablatives, Fiberglass Bottomkote ACT, Micron 66, Micron CSC, Micron Extra VOC, and Trilux 33 (the top-performing paint for aluminum-hulled boats), all scored Good.
