white-winged scoter, bald eages - detroit river / windso
Fri, Feb 21, 2003 2:16 AM
and the temperature change had caused them all to die....very strange sight though. the river was covered in them, packed side by side all the way across (30 feet) and about 60 feet down the length of the river. but odly enough, there were still plenty of live ones beneath the dead ones, and they could be seen through the open patches of water.

Anchoring is easy at all locations and all have marinas and fuel. Of course the big celebration is the Macy's display on July 4 in New York. Come early and anchor well out of traffic. It's a madhouse in the waters off the Big Apple. Larry Zeitlin PUFFIN Cortlandt Manor, NY

<< Allright all you wise listees! I see a little bit of "marine" buildup on some of my connectors between the laptop and the bridge screen and mouse. Some of these are bendix(?) connectors and I see something on the same type connectors to my ICOM 502.

Re: [time-nuts] worth salvaging ?

Odetics won the bid for 1,000 units and within a few months of being installed the started to die. 90% where located in FM radio transmitter buildings, so of which would cost $1,000 via helicopter to get to in the winter. When they where replaced many of the Antenna/downcoverters were just left behind. Odetics picked up the bill to have them all replaced.

That's been true all the way from simple little Atom based ITX boards right through monster boards with all sorts of crazy stuff on them. Yes, it's not out the back, but that's very easy to take care of if you need the port. > >Laptops are a bit different. They seem to die of some sort of display issue long before a desktop.

Website for Tribal Cross-commission look up
Sat, Nov 8, 2025 11:42 PM
Thank you, Beth Anne, for all your hard work putting it together. I was at a roundtable Friday afternoon where the subject was Liability of Tribal Cross-Commission Agreements. I told many of you that I would send you a link where you can look up any municipality in OK by name, to locate each Cross-Commission Agreement to which the municipality is a party.

Skinwalker Log
Sat, Aug 7, 2004 5:09 PM
Skinwalker now has it's own website. This is the chance for you to get rid of my email clogging logs: All the logs and pictures will be entered into the website periodically. Hopefully every week at a minimum, if not every day. Since I am not making the entries I can not control when they are entered.

Re: [time-nuts] Posting style Was: looking for gooddescription/generalized model for time adjustments

>What, exactly, is the problem with top posting ? Nothing, if you read books starting with the last chapter, working forward. Top posters are a result of the lame default of many MUAs, including MS Outlook, which place the insertion point for a reply at the top.

Re: [NewfLink] Question
Sat, Oct 27, 2018 8:50 PM
I have some questions and normally on the Newf-L website I would get chastised and yelled at for this, but I’m going to try here. We are looking to add an addition to our family. A second newf. We really want a landseer this time. Yes, I have heard all the comments about how a black will bring you your newspaper and a landseer will read it to you!
