(or if there were a good cheapish source for multi axis pointer systems). > > One could also add a moon pointer (and all the rest of the planets too). Sort of a geocentric Orrery.

It will reach any point on the top deck. There are obvious advantages to 12 volt operation if it is possible. It is not always convenient to have the gen. set running, but most of all, you're stuck if the gen set fails. My operating lines are of two different colors for easy identification.

The second line is surge protectors on ALL wires that come into the building. Again you do NOT "stop" lightening with an arrester, you use them to provide a easy path to ground.. -- Chris Albertson Redondo Beach, California

She took us on a three-month adventure, from launch at Prince Rupert, BC all over SE Alaska in 1996. One of the highlights was watching 200-foot chunks calve from the Marjorie Glacier at the top of Glacier bay, making waves higher than the length of our boat.

In this case “all is well” includes that the TBolt keeps putting out a proper PPS at the top of each second. The 10 MHz is properly disciplined. What happens around a leap second is up to LH since the PPS really does not care about UTC / GPS time.

Eagleville (Mansfield) Nighthawks.
Sun, Aug 28, 2016 12:27 AM
Unlike other nights, no small groups or singles at all, and these birds were at least twice as high and any I saw on previous nights. Last night, Friday, 8/26. I headed over to Eagleville, but as I was going south through Coventry on Rt 31 I saw a total of 11 nighthawks, most right at the top of the hill between the town hall and the fire station.
