To let people die when they could've been helped is just something most people couldn't do, and I suspect that would include you. Frank

Except, the sides are tapered on most die cast boxes. I like the rectangular boxes made from an extrusion, with covers. That way, the sides are at right angles to each other. COMPAC is one brand.

This is why GPS timing receivers work (almost as well) on top of your car as on top of your house." > I don't get that. What's the purpose of doing a survey when you move your antenna if this the case?

Email on the water

Hi All, We've been following the cell phone/email thread with great interest. In the mail today was a brochure from Bell Atlantic Mobile (BAM) describing "Wireless Internet Access". After seven or eight calls, I found someone who actually knew the details AND who actually uses the service (when camping - whatever).

The original target market was motorolas very lucrative military/space 6800 market, so the chip had to match or exceed the 6800 on all points, including accidental damage. The first version, the 6501 was in fact pin- but not instruction-compatible with 6800, but Motorola had a legal fit and MOS gave up on that idea.
