The Rufous would come and go maybe every 15 - 20 minutes but in between visits it allowed us to walk they're very bird friendly yard and exchange birding stories.

Around 10 the wind picked up to a steady 8-12MPH all day, and this brought the raptors as temperatures peaked at 63. Humidity lessened and the only clouds we had were in the late morning because of daytime heating. Raptor Observations: Charlie spotted the 3 migrant BLVU going through together that we carefully watched drift to the WSW.

The Heritage Centre is open from 10 am - 5 pm daily. 519-724-2291. The foyer contains a 'sightings board' listing May bird sightings (open 24 hours). Lighthouse Point is on the NE corner of the island, Sheridan Point on the NW corner, Mill Point on the SE corner, and Fish Point on the SW corner, due south of the West Dock.
