Re: [CT Birds] [NOSbird] Purple gallinule

Even if that were not the case I think that in all but exceptional circumstances it is better to let nature take its course however sad that may seem (note that it is normal for most young birds to die in their first year). That said I'm probably just a cold hearted cynic (ok, the " probably" is misleading).

printing 5/16-18 threads
Fri, May 15, 2020 1:08 PM
I printed a 5/16" shaft in PLA and threaded it at 18 TPI with a die, successfully.  I then printed a similar shaft using NinjaTech's Cheetah, and my attempts to put threads on that shaft have been laughable.  It is a tough and flexible material, which is why I like it, but threading it is unlikely.

Amongst them was the fact that, on average, THREE PEOPLE A YEAR DIE FROM TESTING 9 VOLT BATTERIES ON THEIR TONGUES IN THE UK. I recently joined St John Ambulance as a volunteer and I would much rather not have to use my CPR skills on a fellow Time Nut. Please always think safety first. Malcolm

any unheated Vref better than LT1021-7 (at 7 ppm/khr typ.) ?

. ------------------------ If the humidity effect is strictly from mechanical stress on the die as the plastic encapsulant swells or shrinks, would a part in a metal can then be immune from this effect, even if it was non-hermetic?
